This is my long way of saying that - because of the storm tonight - we will be able to have our first afternoon of Bill Koch League for the 2011 season tomorrow (January 19, 2011).
For those of you who are BKL veterans, I'm asking that you bring your skier directly to the stadium for equipment drop-off. We'll help him/her bring bags and snacks up to the lodge. [This is to avoid a traffic jam in front of the lodge that often happens when BKLers and Nana Webber skiers converge on Titcomb at the exact same time.]
Step 1: Drop your child's ski equipment at the stadium. [The photo with cars in it shows the easiest entrance to the arena. It is between the garage and the Northern Lights rental building.]
Step 2: Bring your child's bag to the Lodge and get your child ready. The Titcomb staffers will reserve a table for our group. It will be the first table on the left as you enter the fireplace room. It is quite likely that a few BKL parents will be around to help you find your way and get your child dressed.
Step 3: At 4:45 or thereabouts, you may come to the stadium to witness a whole bunch of kids playing silly games on skis. The arena is where the drop off and pick up for BKL days will typically take place.
See you then! :-) Heather
